Birthday Boy Shirt

I have been on a real kick lately cutting out appliques with my Cricut! It is so easy and I think it looks so cute! This is a shirt I made for my Nephew for is 2nd birthday (as you can see.) I cut out the fabric using the Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge, ironed it on, then sewed around the edges. So easy!

I also jumped on the bandwagon and made a tie shirt for my nephew. Every little boy needs one right? For this one, I just drew the design on paper and then cut the image out of fabric that was backed with "Steam a Seam."

I have EVEN MORE applique projects coming soon! Stay tuned!! Also, I will be having a GIVEAWAY when I hit 50 followers!!

LOVE that.....can you please do a tutorial about how you get the cricut to cut them? I tried but I had a heck of a time, and most the time the cricut ended up shredding the fabric :(
Thanks for linking up to gettin' crafty on hump day :)
